Kathmandu, August 28
A large lake formed near the confluence of the Chochen River and the Purepu Tsangpo River in China has burst, according to Rasuwa Chief District Officer Narendra Pariyar.
Pariyar said the information about the lake bursting was received from the Chinese side.
He urged people in the area to remain safe and take necessary precautions.
