Home Minister Sudan Gurung is set to participate in the ‘Citizen, Policy and Leadership’ programme launched by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) this month.

Gurung will attend the programme at the RSP’s central office on Monday evening and interact directly with citizens.

The programme will be conducted in two phases.

In the first phase, citizens will have the opportunity to directly raise their grievances, concerns, suggestions and expectations with the home minister.

The second phase will involve discussions among the minister, lawmakers and the party’s central leadership on the issues raised by citizens, as well as current and policy-related matters.

The RSP said the programme aims to establish a direct link between citizens’ voices, suggestions and expectations and the formulation and effective implementation of government and party policies.

The party has said the initiative is intended to provide citizens with a platform to directly engage with policymakers and leadership on issues affecting them.
