Kathmandu, August 20
Janata Television chairman Bijay Prasad Poudel has been arrested.
Poudel was arrested on charges of check bouncing, said Dan Bahadur Thapa, SP and spokesperson for the District Police Range, Kathmandu. According to him, a complaint over a bounced check worth Rs 150,000 had been filed against Poudel at the Singhadurbar Police Circle.
He is currently being held at the Singhadurbar Police Circle.
