NepalHRM launches HR and payroll software built for Nepali businesses

Kathmandu, July 21

NepalHRM, a human resource (HR) and payroll software designed specifically for the needs and regulations of Nepali businesses, has officially launched. The company says the platform allows businesses to manage employee records, attendance, leave, recruitment, onboarding, and Nepal-compliant payroll all from a single system.

Unlike foreign HR software, NepalHRM comes pre-configured with the latest tax slabs for PF, CIT, SSF, eTDS, and the Inland Revenue Department (IRD). The company claims the system updates automatically whenever the government changes regulations, removing what it describes as one of the biggest compliance headaches for Nepali HR and finance departments.

Free for small teams

One of NepalHRM’s most notable features is its pricing model. The platform is free forever for teams of up to 10 employees, with no card required and no minimum commitment. This gives Nepali startups and small businesses a way to digitise their HR and payroll operations at no cost.

The system is also available for larger organisations, where most companies can become fully operational within two to four weeks with the help of a dedicated onboarding specialist.

Integrates with biometric devices and mobile apps

NepalHRM connects easily with popular biometric attendance devices, including ZKTeco, Anviz, Realand, and Hikvision. Its Android and iOS mobile apps let employees check in themselves, submit leave requests, file reimbursement claims, download pay slips, and view company announcements.

The company also says the system is built with strong security standards, with all data encrypted using TLS 1.2+ and AES-256, along with role-based access control and standard daily backups.

Built for Nepal

NepalHRM’s co-founders, Sujan Thapaliya and Rajnita Bhetwal, say Nepali businesses have long struggled with foreign software that doesn’t understand local regulations. According to them, many companies in Nepal still manage payroll and attendance on Excel, or purchase foreign tools that don’t account for PF, SSF, or eTDS requirements, which is why they built a system tailored to Nepal’s own rules, so that small businesses too can digitise their HR without cost.

Support in English and Nepali

NepalHRM provides customer support in both English and Nepali via email, phone, and WhatsApp. The platform is currently available at nepalhrm.com.

NepalHRM is an HR and payroll software platform built around the regulations, language, and working style of Nepali businesses, helping organisations automate attendance, leave, recruitment, onboarding, and payroll management while ensuring full compliance with Nepal’s PF, CIT, SSF, and eTDS regulations.
