
Kathmandu, June 1
Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has arrived in India for a five-day visit.
He was welcomed at Delhi’s airport by Arun Singh, General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Vijay Chauthaiwale, head of the party’s Foreign Affairs Department.
Lamichhane is visiting India at the invitation of the BJP.
Accompanying him are RSP Joint General Secretary and House of Representatives member Bipin Kumar Acharya, Secretariat member and House of Representatives member Deepak Bohora, his wife Nikita Poudel, and Pradeep Acharya.
According to RSP spokesperson Manish Jha, Lamichhane’s visit will take place from June 1 to 5. During the trip, he is scheduled to hold high-level political and diplomatic meetings in New Delhi.
His itinerary also includes meetings with BJP leaders, members of the Nepali community in India, and party well-wishers. Following his engagements in New Delhi, he is expected to visit Ayodhya, according to a statement issued by the party spokesperson.
The RSP said the Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi is coordinating the meetings, discussions, and visit arrangements.
