Gold prices continue to decline

The decline in gold prices continued on Tuesday, with the price dropping by Rs 1,600 per tola. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has fixed the price of gold at Rs 273,900 per tola, down from Rs 275,500 per tola on the previous day.

Within a week, gold prices have fallen by Rs 36,000 per tola. Last Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 309,900 per tola. The decline in the international market has directly impacted the domestic market.

Meanwhile, silver prices saw a slight increase on the day. The price of silver rose by Rs 80 per tola to reach Rs 4,505. However, over the past week, silver prices have decreased by Rs 830 per tola, compared to Rs 5,335 per tola last Tuesday.
