Election materials for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 have been transported to the Himalayan district of Dolpa.
Election Officer Krishna Bahadur Rawat said the materials were airlifted on Sunday by a Sky Truck aircraft of the Nepali Army.
According to Rawat, the shipment included security seals, ink markers, swastika stamps, stickers and coloured voter lists. Ballot boxes, however, are already available in stock within the district, he said.
Dolpa has a single electoral constituency with a total of 24,115 registered voters, including 11,928 men and 12,187 women.
The Office of the Chief Election Officer, Dolpa, said that 70 polling centres, including two temporary centres, have been established across the district.
A total of 414 personnel have been deployed to conduct the election.
