Theatre artist Vedana Rai is set to direct the stage play “Ye Thibeu!”. Chhadke Topi Arts and Studio, the production house, officially announced the production by unveiling its poster and performance details.
According to the poster, “Ye Thibeu!” will be staged from January 23 to February 16, with performances held daily except Tuesdays at Shilpee Theatre.
The play is written by Gilu Ratos, who shared that the script is inspired by the Kirant community’s mythological tale “Thibiya.” The narrative centres on the legendary character Thibe, reinterpreting the ancient myth through contemporary theatrical expression.
According to the Director Rai, “Ye Thibeu!” is not merely a retelling of mythology, but an exploration of deeper human connections.

The cast includes Sangeeta Thapa, Sanjeev Rai, Sohang Rai Thulung, Prabin Pokhrel, Sanjip Yogi, Abhishek Sharma Rajopadhyay, Anjana Rai, Renuka Gharti Magar, Chirag Paneru, Roshni Karki, Regina Rai, Purna Bahadur Gandharva, Agnishree Bishwakarma, Shanta Rai, Manika Lama, David Subedi, and Yugal Shrestha.
