Kathmandu, September 8
A protester injured in police firing during the Gen Z demonstrations has died.
The injured individual succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Civil Hospital in New Baneshwor, according to hospital authorities.
Hospital Director Mohan Regmi confirmed the death, adding that between 70 to 80 others are currently receiving treatment for injuries.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed, and further details are awaited.
