Euro School excels in Shenzhen, qualifies for Yale Global finals

Kathmandu, August 21

Euro School Chhauni has achieved remarkable success at the World Scholar’s Cup Shenzhen Global Round 2025 in China, winning 51 gold and 61 silver medals and securing a place at the Tournament of Champions at Yale University in November.

Nineteen students represented the school at the global event, which brought together over 1,400 participants from 20 countries. According to a press statement, Aarushi Shrestha stood out with 11 medals, including eight golds, and placed fourth in the Writing Challenge. Along with teammates Aditi Subedi and Liza Parajuli, she also secured third position in Collaborative Writing, with the team ranking 15th overall.

Another highlight was Aaron Sharma, who won the prestigious Asimov Award and claimed 11 medals, including four golds. Other top performers included Aditi Subedi with nine medals, Sleshna Tuladhar with seven, and several students earning between two to seven medals each across categories.

The competition tested students in writing, debating, subject challenges, and team collaboration.

Euro School’s delegation will now represent Nepal at the Tournament of Champions, scheduled for November 6 to November 12, at Yale University, where they will compete against teams from around the world.
