Kathmandu, May 14
The Office of the Auditor General has submitted its annual report to the President of Nepal.
Auditor General Toyam Raya presented the report to President Ramchandra Paudel on Wednesday at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas.
As per Article 294 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, the Auditor General is required to submit a report to the President at the end of every fiscal year.
According to Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, spokesperson for the Office of the President, Raya submitted the 62nd annual report for the fiscal year 2080/81 BS (2023/24) in accordance with this constitutional provision.
