Kathmandu, January 7
One person has been arrested for producing and selling marijuana-infused edibles through Instagram.
Police on Sunday arrested Bishan Manandhar, 26, from Ghattekulo in Kathmandu based on a special tip. He operated bamb.oong page on Instagram.
The police confiscated 121 grams of marijuana powder, 178 grams of pre-packaged edible cakes, three kilograms of marijuana, and other items used to make edibles from the individual.
The police said Manandhar has been producing various types of marijuana-infused edibles at his residence for the past year and distributing them through online channels.
