Bagmati, Gandaki projected to boast better economic growth than the national average

Kathmandu, May 5

The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) has projected better economic growth in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces than the national average as well as the other provinces.

The other five provinces, however, are projected to have lower growth rates than the national average.

Just recently, the bureau has projected that the national economy would achieve a growth rate of 5.84 per cent this fiscal year ending mid-July, 2022.

The bureau also published its projection of the economic growth rates in all seven provinces on Thursday.

The projected rates are given below:
