Kathmandu, January 21
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 268,646 as of Thursday afternoon.
The ministry says 336 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 5,030 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million 31,756 and people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 3,799 cases are active.
Nepal’s recovery rate has reached 97.9 per cent so far as 262,868 people have achieved recovery so far. Likewise, 1,979 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 226 people have been discharged whereas four deaths have been reported.
Over 150 people are quarantined across the country.
