Kathmandu, March 13
Nepal Communist Party senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has claimed that there has been corruption in the purchase of two wide-body aircraft for the Nepal Airlines Corporation last year. He has demanded an investigation into the case and action against anyone who is found guilty of corruption.
Leader Nepal stated the same while speaking in the House of Representatives’ meeting on international affairs on Friday.
Many have raised questions on the purchases of wide-body aircraft by the country’s national flag carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation. Following that, the government had formed a probe committee to investigate the matter. However, the coordinators and members of the committee have not been informed about it.
