The government of Nepal formally extended an invitation to the Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pekka Olavi Haavisto, to attend a session of Sagarmatha Sambad, a dialogue programme that will discuss a multitude of contemporary issues, that the government is hosting the next year.
Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel, who is currently in Europe, handed over the invitation to Haavisto on Monday, according to Pokharel’s secretariat.
During the meeting, the two ministers also discussed promoting cooperation in the field of education, the secretariat informs.
Pokharel had gone to Paris of France to attend a UNESCO function. After that, he went to Finland before coming back to Nepal.
