Nirmala Murder Case: Investigator accused of destroying evidence presents himself before court

Kanchanpur, March 25

Deputy Superintendent of Police Angur GC , who has been accused of destroying evidence in the the Nirmala Pant Murder Case, has presented himself before the district court on Monday.
The court has started recording GC’s statement, said registrar Hari Krishna Awasthi. The court on March 10 had ordered GC to present himself in the court after Nirmala’s mother Durga Devi filed a complaint against him.
Earlier, the court released suspended Superintendent of Police Dilli Raj Bista , who is also facing similar charges. Nirmala was found murdered in a sugarcane field in Bhimdattanagar municipality-2 in the district on July 27, 2018.
