Janakpur, March 3
Province 2 Chief Minister Lalbabu Raut has said that the federal government is trying to form a parallel government in provinces when it comes to security.
Speaking at a programme in Janakpur, Raut said that the federal government going against the constitution was trying to bring a bill on internal security.
To form a parallel government in provinces, the government was planning to give the CDOs the power to mobilise security forces in provinces, according to him.
“This is against the constitution and I think that the government is trying to fool us. But they won’t be able to fool the Province 2 government,” he said.
He warned the government that he would go to the road and the constitutional court if the government went against the spirit for federalism and constitution.
