Kathmandu, February 20
Indonesian club Persija Jakarta is renewing its contract with Nepal’s national football player Rohit Chand.
Chand has confirmed his new contract with Persija Jakarta.
“I have decided to play from for the club after it offered me lucrative salary and facilities,” he said. The club has stated that it is hiring Chand for his excellent performance.
Last year, midfielder Chand won the most valuable player title of the Indonesia’s Liga 1 football league. Meanwhile, Chand is leaving for Indonesia on Wednesday for his registration to play the AFC Cup from the Persija Jakarta.
