Kathmandu, May 4
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has donated Rs 3 million to a Nepali migrant worker who has been languishing in a Saudi Arabian jail after being accused of theft.
The Prime Minister handed over the amount to the wife of Prem Bahadur Rai, who has been n the prison for the past two years due to lack of money to pay a fine.
Rai failed to deposit the fine of Rs 9.5 million slapped on him by the authorities.
Likewise, Prime Minister Oli assured the family members that his government will raise the case with Saudi authorities.
