Newly elected leadership of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Thursday launched Clean the City campaign in a bid to make the citizens aware and involved for cleanliness of the Capital.
Mayor Bidya Sundar Sharkya and his deputy Hariprabha Khagdi cleaned the road from Bansbari to Maharajganj Chok in KMC-3 this morning to launch the initiative.
Assuming the office yesterday, Shakya had decided to launch the campaign.
