Dhangadhi, June 28
A jeep carrying police personnel escorting the vehicle of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba met with an accident along the Dhangadhi-Dadeldhura Bhimdatta Highway in Phaltude of Kailali district on Wednesday.
Nine personnel have sustained injuries in the accident and two of them are critical as the jeep (Se 1 Ja 1503) turns turtle on the road, says Kailali District Police Office spokesperson Bir Bahadur Budha Magar.
The Prime Minister was returning to Kathmandu via Dhangadhi from his home in Dadeldhura after casting his vote this morning.
