Nepalgunj, August 27
Police have arrested four individuals in Nepalgunj, along with a significant quantity of gold and silver. According to DSP Narayan Dangi of the District Police Office in Banke, authorities confiscated 34 tolas of gold (one tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams), 10.5 kilos of silver, and a vehicle.
The arrests were made at a gold shop in the town, but the shop owner managed to flee. The identities of those arrested have not yet been revealed as the investigation is ongoing. The police were acting on a tip-off when they approached the suspects.
