An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale shook a few districts in western Nepal. The earthquake was felt in various areas of Myagdi and Baglung districts at 3:51 am on Friday. National Seismological Centre said that the epicentre of the earthquake was near Adhikari Chaur of Baglung. In Myagdi, it was primarily experienced in Siwang, Arman, Babiyachaur and Barajja, says one Umesh Sapkota of Arman.
Locals of the region say that the quake terrorised many locals who feared for the worse. Similarly, its wave was spread to neighbouring districts Gulmi, Pyuthan, Rukum and Rolpa as well.
Details of probable loss caused by it are awaited.
