Bagmati, April 15
Two staffers working at National Investigation Department’s Bagmati Province Office in Hetaunda died in a road accident on Wednesday night.
The deceased people have been identified as an informant (head constable), Shashi Kanta Jha, 38, and assistant informant (constable) Sanu Kaji Chitrakar, 30, the Bara District Police office informs today.
The accident involving the motorcycle (Na 27 Pa 636) they were riding on took place at Balganga of Piple in the Bara district along the East-West Highway while they were heading towards Nijgadh from Pathalaiya.
Jha died on the spot while Chitrakar died while undergoing treatment at Narayani Hospital, Birgunj, say police.
