Kathmandu, February 1
Two persons have died when two trucks collided in Simle of Dhading, some kilometres away from Kathmandu, on Monday morning.
One person was seriously injured in the incident.
The truck (Lu 2 Kha 270) heading to Kathmandu from Chitwan, carrying steel rode, had hit another truck (Na 6 Kha 6465) that was carrying cement.
The victims are yet to be identified although it has been confirmed that they were travelling on the truck carrying steel rods, according to Khanikhola Area Police Office in the district. The injured person is undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Centre in Kathmandu.
The front side of the rod-carrying truck has been completely damaged whereas another truck also sustained some damages, it has been learned.
