The Nepal Democratic Forum led by Bijay Kumar Gachhadar says it will partner up with other Madhesh-centric parties in the third phase of local level elections in Province 2 scheduled for September 18.
Party’s General Secretary Bharatendu Kumar Mallik says the partnership can be decided on the basis of needs at local and district levels.
The leader also says other parties can also come together with the party as it has not considered any political force as enemy though on the priority are Madhesh-centric parties.
Local leaders who have been refused candidacy tickets from Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal and Rastriya Janata Party Nepal have been in contact with his party, Mallik reveals.
He says the party has formed a five-member team from the central committee to select candidates and almost 80 per cent of the candidates have been finalised in some districts.
