Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar has said she postponed the Parliament meeting till May 18 to let parties take enough time to solve recent tussles among the executive, the legislative and the judiciary through dialogues.
Speaking at a press meet at the Parliament building today, the Speaker also suggested that the issues would get solved once all the state organs limited themselves in own jurisdictions as prescribed in the constitution.
Gharti, however, skipped mentioning the impeachment motion filed at the Parliament Secretariat against Chief Justice Sushila Karki, though she reportedly put off the meeting after failing to decide an appropriate response after the Supreme Court ordered Parliament not to move forward the motion.
She, nevertheless, was of the view that any motion which entered the Parliament proceedings should be the prerogative of the House.
