Sher Bahadur Tamang

Kathmandu, April 3

The federal government of Nepal has sent five model bills to provinces so as to help the new level of government formulate laws necessary to execute their constitutional rights.

Based on these bills, the provincial governments will draft and formulate their own laws.

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs organised a press conference in Kathmandu to inform that all seven provincial governments have been sent with the drafts.

Minister Sher Bahadur Tamang informed that the Ministry would draft 22 more bills within next one week and send them too.

Meanwhile, Minister Tamang said the government also began drafting new laws required at the central level for implementation of new federal structure. Around 110 such laws are needed, according to him.
