Beijing, August 26
Chinese President Xi Jinping has ordered all-out efforts to search and rescue people who are missing after a mudslide in Nepal caused casualties at Kerung border port in southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region on Wednesday morning.
So far, at least seven bodies recovered and dozens of people still missing or out of contact.
The full extent of the damage and casualties remains unclear as communication with several affected areas has been disrupted.
