Won’t dissolve Parliament, says Nepal Prime Minister Oli

Prime Minister KP Oli has clarified that the was not going to dissolve Parliament.

Oli, who was speaking at a programme in the Capital, however said, his government will continue till November 2017, as envisaged by the new constitution.

Oli said he had no reason to tender his resignation as a motion of no-confidence has already been registered in the House.

Parliament is due to discuss the motion on Thursday. Oli said dissolving Parliament would be akin to destroying the pitch where the game needs to played, and he would not do so.
