Biratnagar, May 2
A woman has been found dead on a maize farm at Simhagiri, Ratuwamai municipality-6 of the Morang district in eastern Nepal on Sunday.
The deceased who appears in her early 30s is yet to be identified. Police say they are looking into the case to identify the woman and find out if it was a murder.
“The incident looks suspicious. We have launched a technical team and sniffer dogs for the probe,” SP Santosh Khadka of the District Police Office says.
The body was found on the maize farm owned by local Ram Prasad Bhandari. The clothes worn by the woman were found torn when the body was found.
