Dolakha, May 30
Dolakha’s Sundrawati village will be a host to 31 visiting soldiers of the US Army. The members of the US Army will aid in the reconstruction of the village’s Kalika Higher Secondary School, says Nepal Army. The school was destryord by last year’s earthquakes.
The 31 member team will work in direct coordination with Nepal Army’s Charikot headquarters. The team of the US Army will start working on the reconstruction of the school in three phases for which a 13 member team has already arrived at the village. The reconstruction will start from May 30 and will end on June 14.
A special cultural exchange is also planned as part of the mission, says US Army.
