Kathmandu, August 29
Two youths were killed when their scooter collided with a parked bus near the Sky Bridge in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32, Jadibuti, on Friday morning.
Spokesperson for the Kathmandu District Police Range, Apil Raj Bohora, said the victims; Nitesh Nepal, 23, of Kavrepalanchowk’s Panauti Municipality-2, Hokse, and Shirish Paudel, 22, of Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta West) Sunwal Municipality-1; succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment.
Police have taken the bus driver, Subash Tamang of Dolakha, into custody for investigation.
