Karna Bahadur Pun (32) of Khabarigaun, Gadhwa-5, Dang district, fatally shot 32-year-olds Raju Roka and Kalu Roka while the latter were observing Teej celebrations in Gadhwa on Sunday night, police said.
Kalu breathed his last while he was being rushed to Kohalpur of Banke district for treatment, while Raju died in course of treatment at a health post in Lamahi.
Pun had shot the two using his countrymade gun to settle old scores while they had come to watch Teej dance, according to police, which described it as a premeditated attack.
Police said the shooter is at large. They have sealed border points to prevent Pun from fleeing.
