Mahendranagar, March 12
Two people died when an SUV and a motorcycle collided on the Mahendranagar–Daiji section of the East-West Highway on Wednesday.
The District Police Office Kanchanpur said that two people riding a motorcycle died when a Bolero with registration number Se 1 Ja 1405, travelling from Mahendranagar towards Attariya, collided with a motorcycle with registration number Ma 2 Pa 3506 coming from the opposite direction.
Inspector at the District Police Office Kanchanpur, Birendra Thapa, said that two people riding a motorcycle were seriously injured in the accident, and they died soon after the accident. Police have held the SUV driver for investigation.
