Jajarkot, March 10
Twenty people died and dozens sustained injuries when a bus met with an accident in Jajarkot district on Thursday. Around 50 people were on board.
Jajarkot chief district officer Krishna Chandra Poudel informed that more than 20 people have died in the accident. Some of the injured are critical. They have been airlifted to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu for treatment.
The bus (Na 3 Kha 2279), bound for Khara from Khalanga, lost control on the way and fell about 200 metres down the road. Nepal Police, Nepal Army and Armed Police Force personnel mobilised for search and rescue along with CDO Poudel.
