Kathmandu, August 27
A total of 579 tourists are among 826 people reported missing following the devastating Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa on August 26, according to government figures.
Of the missing tourists, 113 are Nepali nationals and 466 are foreign nationals.
Among the other missing people are 28 Nepal Police personnel, 44 Nepali Army personnel and 13 Armed Police Force personnel.
The disaster has so far claimed 165 lives, while 73 people have been reported injured.
Search and rescue operations are continuing in the flood-affected areas as authorities work to locate those still missing.
