TIA police nab Polish with gun, bullets

Kathmandu, April 25

Police have arrested a Polish national in possession of a gun and some bullets from the only international airport of Nepal, in Kathmandu, on Wednesday evening.

Customs officials at the Tribhuvan International Airport found a black gun with ‘Made in China’ mark and three packets of bullets of 177 calibre inside the handbag of the man, according to police.

After the customs office handed him over to the law enforcers, he has been taken to the Metropolitan Police Circle in Gaushala of Kathmandu for further investigation.

Police say they are looking into the case.
