The British College accredited as an independent higher education institution

Kathmandu, August 8

The British College says it has been awarded the British Accreditation Council (BAC) institutional award as an independent higher education provider.

This is in addition to the status already held by the college as an approved higher education franchise partner for its UK university partners, the University of the West of England and Leeds Beckett University, the college says.

“This award is the result of a very detailed inspection process that many of the staff and students at the college were involved in. It included a full review of all college facilities, covering the courses, academic staff, departments, buildings, resources, and online provisions –  as well as extracurricular activities and employability.”

Awarding the accreditation, the council also commented on the high quality of TBC’s external partners, advisers, stakeholders, and advisory panel – a collective support team that guides the College and helps to ensure it is always maintaining the highest of standards, the college informs.

TBC Marketing and Admission Head Amardeep Mandal says he is delighted with this significant award and feels it truly reflects how the TBC family – students, alumni staff, and other stakeholders – have worked, and will continue to work, collectively and effectively together.
