Butwal, June 11
One person died in an SUV accident in Tilottama in Rupandehi on Sunday.
Police say five people were injured in the accident.
The deceased has been indentified as the SUV’s driver Bikash Shrestha, 32, from Chhatradev rural municipality.
The SUV (Ba 20 Cha 1438) collided into a electricity pole in Shantikunja along the Siddartha Highway.
Shrestha was critically injured and was rushed to Chauraha Hospital and died during treatment.
Those injured in the accident are Sushan Shrestha, Biplav Shrestha, Surendra Shrestha, Bigyan Shrestha and Bishal Shrestha. They are being treated at Chauraha Hospital.
