Butwal, June 5
Five people died and 10 others were injured in an SUV accident that occurred in Palpa district on Sunday.
The jeep (Lu 1 Cha 9024) going to Padena of Arghakhanchi district from Saljhandi, Rupandehi, fell near Satyawati of Rainadevi Chhahara rural municipality-8 at around 5:00 pm.
Three people, Shyam Kala Pariyar, Ramesh BK and Sita Gautam, died on the spot while Sanyog Gautam and Bijaya Pokharel died at Lumbini Zonal Hospital and Chauraha Hospital respectively during treatment.
Of the 10 injured, many are in critical condition, said police.
Further investigation into the accident is underway.
