Kathmandu, September 8
Nepali Congress General Secretary Shashanka Koirala has contracted Covid-19.
Koirala’s secretariat says his swab sample was collected this morning for the coronavirus test and his report came out in the afternoon.
Koirala does not have any symptoms and his health is okay, says the leader’s personal secretary Bharat Tiwari.
Meanwhile, in a tweet, Koirala said he isolated himself at home. He also requested people in his contact to go for a test.
