Kathmandu, August 22
Forum-Nepal chief Upendra Yadav has said the government made a mistake by sending special emissaries to India and China.
Yadav, who was speaking to mediapersons in Rajbiraj on Monday, said the government should have used diplomatic channels to talk to the neighbours. “We have embassies in both the countries, the government should have used the missions,” he said.
The government had recently sent DPM Krishna Bahadur Mahara to China and DPM Bimalendra Nidhi to India as special emissaries.
Yadav said even though several issues remain unresolved, his party and Madheshi Morcha support the current government, and they are optimistic that it will address their demands.
