Kathmandu, October 8
Saral Banking Sewa, a new portal, has come into operation on Thursday with an aim at providing easy banking services to the customers.
The website basically provides comprehensive information about loan schemes, interest rates, credit cards, online and mobile banking facilities, informs the company.
On the website itself, the customers can compare loan schemes and interest rates between different banks. Likewise, there are also features of EMI calculation and eligibility calculator.
The service is free and the visitors can also directly chat with or telephone the information providers.
“We introduced this service to end the compulsion to visit a bank or a financial institution just to receive minor information also,” the company’s managing director Sunish Kumar Lakhe says, adding the portal will also help visitors open accounts at their desired banks.
