Rastriya Prajatantra Party President Pashupati Shumsher JBR said on Wednesday unification of his party and RPP-Nepal will take place soon.

We have already agreed on power sharing and division of responsibilities, he said, adding that the two parties will unite with the agenda of making Nepal a Hindu state.

At a face-to-face that Rafat Sanchar Club had organised in Bhaktapur, RPP Chief Rana said preparations are on to amend the Constitution by including the provision of creating two provinces in Madhesh, among others.

He said preparations are afoot to amend the Constitution in such a way that allows naturalised citizens to hold important constitutional positions other than President, Prime Minister and chiefs of security agencies.

JBR also stressed the need to conduct local elections in line with existing structure. He said it will be impossible to hold local polls otherwise.
