
Kathmandu, August 28
A total of 13,295 security personnel have been deployed for rescue and relief operations following the floods in Rasuwa, the government said.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel provided the information.
According to Pokharel, 7,250 Nepal Police personnel, 4,200 Nepali Army personnel and 1,845 Armed Police Force personnel have been mobilised, bringing the total to 13,295.
Meanwhile, 3,253 people stranded in different locations following the floods have been rescued, he said.
