Kathmandu, March 29
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has returned home after completing his week-long visit to China.
The Prime Minister, who attended the Boao Forum in Hainan and met President Xi, said his visit was successful in cementing Nepal-China ties.
Talking to mediapersons upon his arrival, Prachanda claimed that the May 14 elections will take place on time, and the agitating Madheshi Morcha will also take part in it. He said the fate of the elections has been sealed and there was no point in discussing it further.
Prachanda said the government will address as many of the demands of the Morcha as possible before the elections and the rest will be resolved before the provincial and central level elections.
“I am confident that friends from the Madheshi Morcha will take part in the elections,” he added.
