Rajkot, April 19
President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who is presently on a five-day state visit to India, on Wednesday afternoon arrived in Rajkot, the fourth-largest city in the state of Gujarat.
Upon landing at the Rajkot Airport, the President was welcomed by Gujarat State’s Home Minister Pradeep Jadeja.
The Gujarat folks clad in local attires were at the airport along with a cultural pageantry to welcome the President.
The President arrived here after wrapping up all important engagements scheduled during the visit in New Delhi.
The President headed to the Somnath Temple here after arriving in Rajkot.
