Kathmandu, February 29
The police have removed the ropes placed on the pavements of Singhadarbar, Baluwatar, Federal Parliament and other locations on Wednesday evening.
Following widespread criticism, the police team removed the ropes from the area which were reportedly placed to enhance security, they were subsequently taken down.
No one was allowed to walk on the pavements in these areas for almost two days.
Valley Police Chief AIG Deepak Thapa told Onlinekhabar that after they realised it was affecting the day-to-day lives of the public and causing discomfort.
